Today was a truly amazing day! The primary reason that I traveled to Las Vegas was for a very small private training with Eric Worre, the founder of Network Marketing Pro and the #1 trainer in our profession. His events usually have over 8000 attendees! We were in a room with less than 300 people and I had the privilege of sitting in the 3rd row. Eric is truly a master and I took over 12 pages of notes! What a valuable experience! This morning he will be speaking again to a much larger group (several thousand) of USANA Associates from across the US. There are four of us here from Canada!!

Back to the detox! Once again I started my day with a hotel room smoothie – make sure you get a travel blender for your next trip, makes them so tasty and smooth. My snack collection is getting smaller but I still have enough to get me through the day thanks to my visit to Trader Joe’s earlier in the week. Lunch was delicious! I got a custom salad with lots of greens, a hard boiled egg and an assortment of veggies. I think that’s what I miss the most while travelling – I am used to adding greens to every meal and most snacks. And my warm lemon water. I have been drinking room temp lemon water but it’s not the same.

House-made hummus

We found a great restaurant on site for dinner that had lots of options for me. It’s called Hearthstone and although it seems a bit meat and cheese heavy, the house-made hummus with artisanal vegetables was truly delicious. My dinner was a roasted cauliflower with a poached egg. Strange combo but super tasty. The only surprise was the cheese. Cheese seems to be hiding everywhere here in the US! It’s not always marked on the menu and it’s a surprise when your plate arrives. Besides all of that, the detox is still going well, my digestion is top notch and I still haven’t had a drink!
