Strange things are happening. I am no longer resisting sweets, I’m actually not that interested in them. What is happening ;-)? Today I had lunch at my favorite (and detox approved) restaurant, Lettuce Love Café. The founder, Kelly Childs, contributed several recipes to our guidebook and she and her daughter, Erinn Weatherbie, have a new cookbook coming out in the spring of 2016!! After my delicious lunch, featuring a kale soup and the protein packed Power Bowl, I wasn’t even interesting in sharing a brownie with my lunch partner.
I love starting my day with a green juice, although it does add to my prep in the morning. I have made 4 juices in 8 days so I am definitely enjoying it! Next time I will try something different, with beets and carrots perhaps. Maybe my daughter will try it! She’s very adventurous and loves green smoothies but I don’t think she’s ready for a green juice just yet.
Today was a stunning spring day and I took the opportunity to go a for short walk along the pier here in Burlington. The sky was a beautiful shade of bright blue and the water was teal. Spring weather certainly makes it easier to stick to the detox program. Good news for all who haven’t started yet! There is enough interest that we have another group starting next week – pick you day basically between Monday and Wednesday, it will all depend on when your products arrive. Details for pricing and products can be found here. We’d love to have you join us!
And finally, some amazing news!! Hepa Plus or Hepasil DTX one of the foundation products in our program will be featured on the Dr. Oz Show this week! Set your PVR for Thursday April 16th, you don’t want to miss this one.
