Finished week 1! The feedback from our early-bird group has been amazing. Everyone has really been enjoying the program and the new recipes that we have added. I have lots of energy and no sugar cravings. It’s very liberating actually! And it saves money too, no stops at Shoppers for a dark chocolate Lindt bar or Eggies (which are gone! phew!!).
I finally made my favorite snack bars from the program today. Gorete’s recipe is a fan favorite for sure and I usually make these even when I’m not doing the detox program. It does look like I ate some already but I just couldn’t get it to spread across the pan completely. This is before I frozen them. We eat them right from the freezer. Delicious!! A batch only lasts 2-3 days.
I also made a totally delicious discovery today. I had leftovers from the cabbage salad I made last night, which was awesome already. I roasted some chickpeas as a side. Well, let me tell you that adding these two together was AMAZEBALLS!! Loved it. Hubby was asking for me to do this combo again. I will for sure!!
Even though I have done this three times before, I am learning new things and trying new recipes. And that’s what I like about it. You learn new recipes to add to your weekly meal planning, even after the program. And guess what? It’s not hard to do!

One last thing to share, a few things I have noticed is that I have stopped feeling hungry in the evening and I don’t wake up hungry. I am actually doing intermittent fasting for 12 hours a day, which is great for your body. There are so many benefits to this program – what’s keeping you from joining us?
