For all who are celebrating today,  Happy Easter! Whether you celebrate the resurrection of Christ or the Easter Bunny,  chances are today was a detox cheat. And that’s ok. This program is meant to teach you new lifestyle habits that you can continue after the program, so one meal off is not a big deal. Did you see this holiday cheat sheet we made? I made a few choices today to help me resist treats. First, as you may have read in my last post, I have to avoid Eggies all together,  so I didn’t even have one.  I am super proud of this! I did stop at Kelly’s Bake Shoppe (how could I not?) and picked up a few Easter cupcakes and some Skinny cookies.  Turns out we weren’t hungry for them so I am freezing them for my hubby’s birthday this week. For Easter dinner,  I made the Kale, Quinoa and Pear Salad from the 30 Day Whole Body Detox guidebook to bring and share with my in-laws. For dessert, Tanya Fraser’s Superfood bar is always a hit. It made it easier to navigate a big family dinner during the detox.

I am so proud of all of you who are on this journey with me, some are now halfway through as well. And I look forward to working with even more of you in the coming weeks.
